Claims About Islam and Some Replies to Them   no comments

Ridiculous and superficial claims are often made by Modernist (or simply uninformed) Muslims about what Islam is or isn’t… Here is a list of some of the oft-repeated claims we hear, and some short replies to them:

Claim no. 1: Islam is Democracy!

False! Democracy is “dêmos krátos” [more on that here] – the rule of the people – man-made laws. Representatives are elected and they come up with new laws and a lot of these laws change every time a new government is elected. Democracy is the “nice word” for the Capitalist system.

Fact: In Islam the “ruling system” is Shari’a, not “Democracy”!

The "War on Terror" is a "War on Islam"!   no comments

The former head of the British armed forces who recently retired and appointed as a defence advisor to Prime Minister David Cameron on Sunday confirmed that the war in Afghanistan is a war on Islam.

“He [the defence advisor] explicitly said if Muslims adopted Islam’s political ideas and the Khilafah ruling system, this would be unacceptable and warranted a military response from Britain. He had no issues with Muslims praying or enacting spiritual rituals, provided they surrendered political life to Western values.”
