Definition of Atheism: The belief that there was nothing and nothing happened to nothing and then nothing magically exploded for no reason, creating everything and then a bunch of everything magically re-arranged itself for no reason whatsoever into self-replicating bits which then turned into dinosaurs. Makes Perfect Sense.

In other words: Only a complete idiot remains an Atheist!

Claims About Islam and Some Replies to Them   no comments

Ridiculous and superficial claims are often made by Modernist (or simply uninformed) Muslims about what Islam is or isn’t… Here is a list of some of the oft-repeated claims we hear, and some short replies to them:

Claim no. 1: Islam is Democracy!

False! Democracy is “dêmos krátos” [more on that here] – the rule of the people – man-made laws. Representatives are elected and they come up with new laws and a lot of these laws change every time a new government is elected. Democracy is the “nice word” for the Capitalist system.

Fact: In Islam the “ruling system” is Shari’a, not “Democracy”!

Being a Fundamentalist   no comments

We hear the word “Fundamentalist” repeated over and over again in the media.

But what does “fundamentalist” really mean? According to a common definition it denotes an adherent to a set of basic principles (often religious in nature).

According to Wikipedia,

“”Islamic fundamentalism” is most often used to describe Muslim individuals and groups which advocate Islamism, a political ideology calling for the replacement of state secular laws with Islamic law.” [source]
